Lydia Kelso has worked at Kelso Lawyers for over 10 years. She has extensive experience in victims compensation in NSW, having acted for countless victims of crime. She also advises government on the compensation entitlements of children in care. In addition to this, Lydia assists closely on civil claims for survivors of institutional child abuse.
Lydia has a special interest in advocating for the rights of abuse survivors and has contributed to the firm’s submission to the Child Abuse Royal Commission on Statutory Victims of Crime Compensation Schemes. Lydia also has an interest in medical negligence and product liability.
Lydia completed a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England and was admitted to practice in 2017.
