Lydia Kelso has worked at Kelso Lawyers for over 10 years. During her time at the firm, Lydia has developed expertise in victims compensation in NSW, acting for countless victims of child abuse, achieving millions in compensation. She also closely assists on civil claims for survivors of institutional child abuse.
Lydia has a special interest in advocating for the rights of abuse survivors and care leavers, and has contributed to the firm’s submission to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Abuse on Statutory Victims of Crime Compensation Schemes. Lydia also has an interest in medical negligence and product liability.
Lydia has completed a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New England and will be admitted as a solicitor in July 2017.
