{"id":9750,"date":"2021-09-13T09:44:48","date_gmt":"2021-09-12T23:44:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kelsolawyers.com\/au\/?p=9750"},"modified":"2026-04-16T16:18:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T06:18:07","slug":"wagga-wagga-teacher-charged-with-sexual-abuse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kelsolawyers.com\/au\/wagga-wagga-teacher-charged-with-sexual-abuse\/","title":{"rendered":"Wagga Wagga teacher charged with sexually assaulting three teenage boys"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last week, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prime7.com.au\/bulletin\/prime7-news-wagga-3-september-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">charges were laid against Wagga Wagga school teacher<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0for sexually assaulting three teenage students between 1984 and 1990.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now 74-years-old, the teacher has been charged with nine offences including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two counts of sexual and indecent acts of sexual assault<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seven counts of sexual assault against a person under the age of 16-years-old.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police launched an investigation into the retired teacher in July 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He was arrested at his Albury home in September 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The teacher has been granted conditional bail but is due to reappear in Albury Local Court on September 20th 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More news as it comes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Get the justice you deserve with Kelso Lawyers.
