Prior to being admitted as a solicitor, Rachel worked in private practice as a Clinical Psychologist. She completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) at Newcastle University and a Masters of Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University. In her fifteen years working as a Clinical Psychologist Rachel had a particular interest in working in the areas of complex trauma, severe mental illness and interpersonal difficulties. She has undertaken a variety of research projects and has been published in national and international journals.
Rachel is also a qualified Mediator, having completed her training at the Australian Mediation Association. Her education, background and experience means that Rachel has an in-depth knowledge of trauma and its impact on a person’s mental and physical health.
In 2016, Rachel completed a Juris Doctor at the University of New South Wales and was admitted as a solicitor.
