Corey is an experienced abuse compensation lawyer having commenced at Kelso Lawyers in 2018 as a law student. Corey was admitted as a solicitor in 2020 and promoted to Senior Associate in 2024.
Corey has assisted many survivors of abuse across Australia, including those in children’s homes, foster care, churches, schools, community groups and ex-servicemen and women to secure compensation from State and Commonwealth Governments, as well as religious orders.
Corey is a passionate advocate and appreciates that coming forward to commence a claim for compensation is daunting and re-traumatising for survivors. He uses his positive attitude and outgoing nature to ensure each survivor he represents feels heard and that their emotional needs are accounted for while also being committed to providing full and frank legal advice to ensure they are fully informed of the claims’ process and their rights.
Corey also has an economics background and is passionate about ensuring that any survivor whom he obtains compensation for is given the opportunity to be made aware of all of the financial education resources available to them so they can plan for their financial future and start afresh.
