I am 42 years old. I recently decided to look into the possibility of claiming compensation from the Catholic Church for child sexual abuse. My claim has now been settled. I do not normally write testimonials, though I feel that it is important to do so, as it will allow people in similar circumstances an insight into my recent experience.
I firstly decided to review a number of solicitor’s firms. I had been advised to make my decision on which firm to accept, based on who I felt comfortable with. I spoke with a number of firms. Kelso Lawyers was one of these.

Without wanting to seem cliché, this whole experience has been life changing. My life has changed dramatically over the last eighteen months. It is not in any way an easy process, though I have been supported the whole way with assistance in knowing how to gain counselling and with being treated with respect and care at all times
I do appreciate that not all firms can offer support or understanding at this level. I am very grateful that I chose the firm that I did to support me on this journey.
